About Jeffrey B Miley

“Jeffrey B Miley is an award-winning American author specializing in Sasquatch fiction, cryptid thrillers, supernatural horror, and suspense.” Named the 2024 Cryptid Quarterly Author of the Year and ranked second in 2025, Miley has established a distinctive presence in the world of cryptid fiction.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Miley has built an extensive body of work centered on the mysterious, the terrifying, and the unexplained. His signature ‘Sasquatch Adventures’ series transports readers into wilderness settings where humanity encounters creatures that science has yet to acknowledge.

Unlike traditional monster stories, Miley's fiction explores multiple sides of the Sasquatch legend. His creatures can be ruthless predators, misunderstood survivors, intelligent protectors, or beings whose existence challenges everything humans believe about the natural world.

His ‘Cryptid Classics’ series expands beyond Bigfoot to explore legendary creatures from across America and around the world, including the Jersey Devil, Wendigo, Chupacabra, Lizard Man, and other mysterious inhabitants of folklore.

Miley's writing combines suspense, adventure, horror, mystery, and occasional humor. His stories range from contemporary encounters and survival thrillers to historical adventures and supernatural mysteries.

Beyond his two flagship series, Miley is the creator of ‘Shriek’, ‘Full Blood Moon’, and numerous other works of horror and suspense.

His books have attracted thousands of reader ratings, while his work has earned recognition from Cryptid Quarterly. In 2025, eight of his titles appeared on the publication's quarterly charts, reinforcing his reputation as a consistently recognized voice in independent cryptid fiction.

For Jeffrey B. Miley, the wilderness is never truly empty, legends are rarely just legends, and the most terrifying discoveries often begin where civilization ends.
